Career Guidance for Young People
Many options: Which ones are right for me?
Never before have young people around the world had so many first-class educational opportunities. Never before have they been able to choose from so many offers and options; a great opportunity and enormous challenge at the same time. Many young people definitely see the opportunities that are available to them, but they often don't know how to identify the ones that suit them.
Focus on the essentials
At the latest after graduating from high school, but also during their apprenticeships or studies, many young people ask themselves: What am I really good at? What is important to me? Where am I headed? They want to find out where their individual strengths and interests lie and which specialized areas and job profiles match these. One thing is certain: Knowledge of one's own strengths and values are not only important points of orientation and motivational factors, they form the basis of decision-making for the right apprenticeship, university, and profession.
Participants explore their various areas of activity and previous experience. Using a structured process, they learn how to derive and prioritize their strengths. In doing so, they also identify their values and know what is important to them in life and for their professional career. On this basis, they find suitable subjects, training opportunities, or job profiles, and set specific goals for their personal path.
You have a clear answer to the questions of what you are good at, what is important to you, and where you are headed. You know yourself, your strengths, and your values. And you can include these in your application process, e.g. in your CV, your letters of motivation, and share them in job interviews. You gain self-confidence and develop your own initiative. You know how to design your career path.

With great fun and professionalism
"Verena was recommended to me by a friend who, like me, was very uncertain about his future after graduating from high school. Over the course of four sessions, Verena helped me with great fun and professionalism to find a college subject that suits me. I would definitely recommend her, because you no longer feel like a client, but more like an acquaintance, whom Verena really wants to help and in whom she is genuinely interested. I was more than satisfied with her coaching and can recommend it to anyone looking for career guidance."

Making my own decision based on new ideas and suggestions
"For me, the coaching was an important part of finding my own path. Verena kept giving me new inspiration and ideas so that I could decide for myself what is important to me. That's how I started thinking about international relations, something I didn't have in mind before. And I've developed the self-confidence to pursue this idea and ultimately study at King's College in London.“

Better targets, more confidence
"After my studies, I was overwhelmed by the wide range of jobs and didn't know which direction to take professionally. The coaching made me aware of what my real strengths are and how I can best use them. I particularly liked the fact that I wasn't given a result, but rather that I worked it out myself. I then found a suitable direction and was able to apply in a targeted and much more confident manner. I can recommend the coaching to everyone."

Completely put aside uncertainties
"The coaching was very helpful because I was able to completely put aside my uncertainties about my choice of study. I thought it was really cool how we worked out my personality, exploring all aspects that have shaped me from an early age on. I found it kind of unusual that nothing was suggested to me, but under supervision I was able to determine this myself. In my opinion, the success of the coaching lies in Ms. Lauffs. Her very accommodating and attentive manner made me immediately feel comfortable and the sessions together were particularly fun. I can recommend this coaching to anyone who wants to make the right choice in terms of profession or training."
